Playing Games in Indiana

January 5th, 2009 | by Qandishah Brown |

Take out the cheering squads, get yourself a cold beer and relax as the games get rolling. Indiana is known for one thing, its sports. This state is home to teams such as the Indiana Colts and the Indiana Pacers. They are also proud to host events such as the Indianapolis 500 race. It’s obvious that there is one thing that Hoosiers hold close to their hearts; and that is playing their game well and enjoying it too.

Both the young and old take playing their games seriously. They have a record for winning their games at different levels; be it collegiate or professional. As a matter of fact you will find that even high school students train seriously looking forward to moving on to college games. Undoubtedly, competitiveness and dedication are in the air during the various game seasons.

Watching and playing sports isn’t the only thing that Hoosiers do. You may be wondering what they are up to during the times that games seasons are off. You will find that there are number of things to do such as visiting or participating craft fairs and shows. These are events that take place all year round, at different seasons so there is always something else for them to do.

Indianan craft fairs and shows are a great way to do something else in Indiana other than watch sports or participate in them. While it may not have as much body contact it is certainly still a great way for Hoosiers to support their state and promote what they have locally. Not to mention that it is a good way to make some good money.

You too can do the same thing if you live in Indiana or nearby. Getting into a craft fair or show can be a good way for you to start sharing with others the things that you do or make. It will also certainly give you some extra cash (perhaps to buy tickets to next season’s games).
